Primary filter cotton, also known as air inlet cotton, fan filter cotton, dustproof cotton, white filter cotton, is a barrier dedicated to pre-filtration of air filtration systems. The material is composed of synthetic fibers that increase in number. It is a commonly used filter material in air purification and filtration. It mainly filters dust particles and suspended solids greater than or equal to 5μm in the atmosphere. In addition, it has a good effect on filtering a small number of aquariums.

Scope of use: The filtration efficiency for particles of 5μm is: 40%-90%; European standard G1, G2, G3, G4; EUROVENT4/5 levels: EU1, EU2, EU3, EU4. Under the conditions of rated air volume, it can be used normally for 1~2 months, and the filter cotton needs to be replaced; or when the resistance of the filter cotton reaches more than 200Pa, the filter cotton must be replaced; if the filter cotton is washable, the replaced filter material can be rinsed with clean water or a solution containing a neutral detergent, blown dry with compressed air or dried, and then replaced; it is allowed to be cleaned twice, that is, a new filter cotton must be replaced, and the filtration efficiency will be reduced by 15% each time it is cleaned; if the dust concentration in the use environment is high, the service life cycle will be further reduced. Used in various industrial purposes: such as spraying industry, electroplating industry, surface treatment, waste gas treatment, building ventilation, pollution prevention and control, public construction, air conditioning industry, home appliance industry, automobile industry, motorcycle manufacturing, electronics industry, watch industry, pharmaceutical factory, food industry, packaging materials, furniture industry, decoration engineering and other ventilation and air conditioning systems in various air purification fields.

Places of use and specifications: Common places for primary filter cotton generally include: central air conditioning, spraying system, air supply system, subway, train, station and other ventilation system pre-filtration places, installed at the air inlet of these places, and fixed with metal frame. It is worth noting that the primary filter cotton belongs to pre-filtration, so the replacement frequency must be guaranteed to ensure the service life of the material filtered later; if there are more dust particles in the use place and the frequency of use is high, it is necessary to use glue primary filter cotton, which can be washed 2-3 times to save costs.
